I am Hasna Bacheca, an International Baccalaureate (IB) French and Spanish Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) teacher and examiner with 25 years of teaching experience. As an educator, my purpose is to develop cross-cultural understanding and an appreciation of cultural diversity through the acquisition of languages whilst nurturing and mentoring students. I am trained in the latest MYP and DP language acquisition programmes. I have access to a wealth of IB resources, past papers, and I will use my extensive IB knowledge and experience to ensure complete coverage of the required topics. My interactive teaching fully reflects all the aspects of the new language acquisition syllabus.

I am available to guide students toward the successful completion of their IB language acquisition programme to help them reach their full potential. Not only am I well qualified with a Masters degree in teaching foreign languages, I also embody the international mindedness of the IB programme because I am fluent in seven languages, I have lived in eleven countries, and I have taught in several international schools.

Additionally, as the mother of two IB graduates, I also understand the pressure and stress on students caused by the demands of the IB programme.
